Long-Distance Hug Ribbon

If your little one has a long-distance friend, this craft would be perfect. Prepare cutouts of your child’s hand-prints, hearts and some sweet notes and stick them unto a ribbon about the length of their arm span.

Beaded Hearts Card

Spread the love with this colorful beaded hearts that’s very easy-to-make. All you need is a bendable wire, colored beads, card stock, a hole punch and a string. Follow the instructions below.

  1. Simply bend the wire into a heart shape (depending on how big you want it to be).
  2. Thread the beads into the wire until it is full but leave a few centimeters. Twist the ends together and cut any excess wire.
  3. Bend the fastened ends towards to middle to form a heart shape.
  4. Cut the card stock into a square and add two hole punched to the middle ends of the card stock.
  5. Thread your beaded heart into the card with the string and add some sweet messages on the card.

Pencil Cupid Arrows

Turn some pencils into Cupid arrows and have your little one give it to everyone in their class! You will need Valentine’s themed pencils, glue, scissors and card stock. Draw and cut out the hearts and the chevron arrows in the card stock. Use the glue to attach the cut outs into the pencil – the heart at the end that will be sharpened and the chevron arrows at the eraser end.

Celery Rose Card

The bottom of celery stalks can be used as rose stamps to create the perfect, adorable card for the teachers. All you need is a card stock, some paint and a celery stalk cut with a straight edge. First, dry the cut-off end thoroughly and dip it into the paint. Stamp the celery into the card to make roses. You can also have your child finger-paint some flower stems and leaves and write a nice, little message.

Hearts Garland

Quick, easy and very creative, this craft will surely brighten up your home this Valentine’s. Just some coloured paper or felt, thread, glue and scissors are needed. Draw hearts and use the scissors to cut it out. Continue until you have enough number of hearts to create the garland. Use the glue to attach the hearts into the thread. Hang them after.
