Schools and Childcare show finally arrives in Dubai!

In partnership with the Knowledge and Human Development Authority “KHDA”, the Schools and Childcare Show will be held January 20thto 21st at Dubai World Trade Center “DWTC”. It will bring outstanding schools, nurseries, afterschool’s clubs and educational institutions in Dubai and worldwide, all under one roof. Also admission is free.

Parents in Dubai are certainly pleased. “Finally!” one parent was reported to have said. “Finding the right school for my child is one of the most important things to me. It can be hard in Dubai because you often have to visit the schools one by one which is sometimes difficult when you are working.” Another mother commented “It’s good to have such an event which is partnered with the KHDA. This reassures me that the information I will receive will be correct”.

Schools and childcare institutions from across the city are also excited for the event. Not only will they have stalls so they can meet parents face to face but they will be able to answer questions and discuss important topics in the seminar corner; while their students show case their talents on the stage for all to see! GEMS, Taaleem, Fortes, Horizons, many other leading Dubai and international schools and nurseries have all signed up. Schools are happy to be involved in the Schools and Childcare show as it is affiliated with the KHDA and they are the gold standard for education in Dubai. It will give them the opportunity to meet with parents, show them how they adhere to the KHDAs high standards and illustrate how they meet the learning needs of every child in their care, so their students can achieve their full potential.

The organizers, Groovy Events also point out that it will be a fun day for all the family. Along with all the exhibitors there will be play areas, a reading corner and of course the stage performances from the students.

This is the first time this event has taken place in Dubai but it has a successful track record in Bahrain over the last few years. The idea was the brain child of Habib Ebrahim, CEO of Groovy Events “The idea came to me when I was trying to find schools for my two children and I realized how much hassle it was. So we decided to remove the hassle, invited schools and childcare institutions to exhibit with us, so the Schools and Childcare show was born and it took off from there!”

The shows aim is to be of benefit to everyone, parents and educational institutions but most importantly the children and this is the reason that admission is free. The children is what the show is ultimately about after all; creating a one stop shop, so parents can view many educational options for their child and make the best decision for their child’s future, today.
